Joe Kirk
Joe started learning the craft from his father, "Papa Dan," at just four years old, spending afternoons at the bench, watching every meticulous detail come to life. He adopted bench jeweling as his trade at 23 and has spent decades perfecting it, passing that same love down to all three of his children. In addition to running the show at Kirk & Company Jewelers, Joe still takes on many of our Master Work designs and more complex custom projects.
Gina Kirk
When "Miss Gina" is not teaching, she is breathing life and style into the family business. Her eclectic layering and larger-than-life personality inspire many of the pieces we carry in store, and her eye for design carries right into our seasonal decor. Stop in during the holidays to see her decorating skills in action -- her displays earn compliments every single year.
Hanna
Hanna started in the industry as a seasonal hire while finishing her degrees in English and Education. Hanna is our Sales Manager and brings bright energy, a natural gift for communication, and a genuine love for helping people find exactly what they are looking for. Do not be surprised if your visit with Hanna feels less like shopping and more like catching up with a knowledgeable friend.
Anita
Anita brings over 30 years of jewelry industry experience, along with credentials as a Graduate Gemologist from GIA and a Certified Gemologist from AGS. She has a particular passion for natural gemstone projects and truly classic designs, and her knowledge runs as deep as her warmth. Expect a thorough, honest conversation -- and a warm hug before you part ways.
BRANDON
Brandon puts the "Company" in Kirk & Company. As the third generation of our family-owned business, he found his place in the craft through art, and today he is our most experienced designer, taking on many of our Master Work custom projects. Brandon also curates the music you hear every time you walk through our doors -- so if you love the playlist, thank him.
ERIN
As our Sales Associate specializing in Repair Intake, Erin brings a deep understanding of jewelry structure and a sharp eye for catching small issues before they become big ones. She greets every client with genuine warmth and honest guidance, making the repair process feel easy from start to finish. Fur baby parents, take note: Erin is always ready with a treat and plenty of belly rubs.
KATIE
With over a decade of experience in the industry, Katie is one of our go-to designers for transforming clients' existing diamonds and jewelry into modern new pieces to cherish. Her creativity and out-of-the-box thinking mean that if there is a way to make your vision work, Katie will find it. THERESSA
Theressa brings positive energy to every interaction and a genuine passion for the craft, even making jewelry at home in her spare time. She is currently attending New Approach School for Bench Jewelers, working to bridge the gap between design and creation. Trust her to guide you through the latest trends and the styles our clients are loving most right now.
SOPHIA
As our HR Director, Sophia keeps all of the many moving parts of our wonderful team running smoothly. The youngest and only daughter of Joe and Gina, she keeps her brothers in line, every duck in a row, and manages to make us all laugh while she does it. She is the kind of steady, spirited presence that makes Kirk & Company feel like family -- because it is.
BRYON
With nearly twenty years behind the bench, Bryon brings a wide range of experience and a steady, can-do approach to everything we send his way. His capabilities span the full scope of bench work, and his reliability is something our whole team counts on. When the workday ends, you will find him relaxing with a favorite classic action film.
CLAY
Clay is our front-of-house jeweler, the first hands-on point of contact for repairs and quick services like watch batteries and parts consultation. He works closely with clients and our sales team to find the right solutions, and collaborates with everyone who walks through our doors. Clay also tends to all of our store plants, and would genuinely love to talk with you about his orchids.
DAVID
David is a lifelong learner, always seeking the next skill or technique he can bring to the bench. His specialty is repurposing gold and hand fabrication, and the bespoke, heirloom-quality results speak for themselves. Outside of the shop, he puts that same care and attention into his car. Watch for him cruising around downtown Milford.
JOSH
As Joe and Gina's oldest son and the third generation of our family-owned business, Josh learned goldsmithing and diamond setting from both Joe and Papa Dan. When you look at your finished piece, know that your diamonds were set with meticulous care by someone who has spent a lifetime perfecting this craft. When he is not at the bench, you might spot him kayaking down the Little Miami.
NICK
Having grown up in a family of bench jewelers and manufacturers, Nick brings a breadth of knowledge that is hard to come by. He is our resident jack of all trades, and there is rarely a question he cannot answer. On a nice day, you might find him walking the river in downtown Milford or quietly learning a new technique to bring back to your next masterpiece.
