Jewelry Repair

We're proud to be a jewelry store with actual jewelers, designers, goldsmiths, diamond setters, and engravers on staff who understand all facets of designing, making, and repairing jewelry.  Almost all repairs are done in-house. It's very rare that an item would need to leave our store, and it will never leave our store without your approval first.

Minor scratches and broken chains shouldn’t keep you from wearing your favorite jewelry. We offer full-service in-house repairs, from gem polishing to clasp replacement. We will repair any jewelry whether you bought it at our store or not. Ring resizing, clasp and chain repair, stone replacement, scratch removal, and watch repairs are just a few of the services we offer. Whether you need a simple repair procedure or full stone replacement, bring in your jewelry for a free repair estimate while you shop.

Ring Resizing

As with all our repairs, ring sizings are done in-house. All of our ring sizing jobs include checking and tightening the gemstones and a stone tightness and stone loss guarantee for one year**.

Sizing also includes rhodium plating for white gold rings. Pricing for ring sizing ranges from $100-$300 for most rings.

Diamond & Gemstone Setting

Maybe you have an heirloom diamond that you want to have set in a new piece, maybe you'd like to upgrade your engagement ring with a new center stone, or maybe one of your beloved pieces has a missing, chipped, or cracked stone.  We have skilled in-house diamond setters to get the job done.

Polishing & Plating

With time and wear, jewelry loses its original sparkle and shine. Oftentimes simply cleaning it, retightening all the gemstones, and polishing will make it look like new again. White gold jewelry is usually plated with rhodium, a metal in the platinum family.

Jewelry Restoration

Restoring antique, heirloom, and estate jewelry requires more than the average repair service covers. Antique jewelry that has not been well maintained over the years can be returned to its original state but requires awareness to the history of the piece.

Tip & Prong Repair

The tips of a ring are the very tops of the prongs that hold the gemstone in place. Since the tops are exposed to the most wear, they can get worn down over time. When the tips wear thin, the gemstone will loosen and can fall out or get damaged.

Shank Repair

After years of wear, the shank (base) of a ring can wear very thin and be vulnerable to cracking or breaking. When this occurs, it is time to get a new shank.

We remove the worn out section of the ring and replace it seamlessly with all new metal, making the ring last for years to come.

Gold & Diamond Buying

Upgrade your old jewelry or trade in your unworn pieces for something new. Jewelry trade-ins can help finance a new purchase or improve an existing piece. We will buy your loose diamonds and diamond jewelry to help offset the cost of a diamond upgrade.

Pearl & Bead Restringing

Pearl and bead restringing prevents your necklaces from breaking at inopportune moments with regular string replacements. Pearl necklaces are strung on silk thread that is knotted in between each pearl. This thread is exposed to dirt and grease that causes it to deteriorate over time.

Engraving

We offer multiple types of engraving.  We can hand engrave in many styles (floral, geometric, vintage, scrolls, and more) on your custom piece, weddings bands, and we can even re-touch engraving on your items that may have lost some of their detail.

We also offer laser and machine engraving on all precious metals and some alternative metals. Custom engraving on your favorite jewelry makes a piece uniquely yours. It adds sentimental value and a very personal touch. From pendants and charms to pens and picture frames, we offer a wide variety of engraving services for you or anyone on your gift list. We can engrave monograms, important dates, company logos, or inscriptions on almost any piece. Whether you’re buying from our store or bringing in your own items for engraving services, come in for a free estimate today.
